Thank you, thank you, thank you! The barrel race on Tuesday, June 5th was GREAT!!!! Thank you everyone who came out and supported our race we appreciate everyone! A big thanks to Barb and Bryant Stocking of Cabela's Trophy Properties/Showcase Properties for sponsoring the race, because of great sponsors such as you we are able to continue having great barrel races, thank you again! I would like to thank Bev Hampton, Bronson Stocking and Nancy Davis for announcing and writing times all night long. A big thanks to Dianna Merrick for preparing the ground for us and thanks to my mom, Ellen Carr, for tractoring during the race, thanks! Thanks to Julliet Primeau, Anna Hernandez and my dear husband for setting the course. Oh and thanks to Bronson for making a dinner run for us, we appreciate it. Also, a big thanks to Stefani Hofman, she didn't enter the race, but she was there helping with everything, thank you! Also, thanks to Marti for working the gate all night long, it is great to have you back at Circle D after so many years! Sorry for the delay in starting the time only runs, as we were getting ready Dianna Merrick received a phone call that the fire that was on Timm Rd/Clement Rd was heading toward her home and she needed to evacuate, so quite a few people tied their horses to trees and other trailers and jumped in their rigs and headed to Dianna's, luckily the fire was contained quickly and no horses needed to be evacuated. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to assist, Dianna and Bob greatly appreciate it! After all the commotion the time onlys got underway, and the race started on time, thank you! Congratulations to Mariah deMontigny and her horse Bar De Pavo for setting the pace with an 18.369. Samantha Tucker, Dianna Merrick and Anna Hernandez also took home checks, way to go! Again, I want to thank everyone for their continued support of our barrel races and we look forward to seeing you again at our next race on June 19th which is sponsored by the Yosick Family!
